I Love Levis jeans!June 25, 2017 at 4:52 pm #1805
My favorite jeans brand is Dr. Denim because nothing feels and fits better. They hug, they flatter, the hold in and they make men go blind and the whole body shiver when wearing them.July 4, 2017 at 11:23 am #29376LevilandlordParticipant
My favorite jeans are Levis 501sxx But before the late 90,s. Do not like the feel of newer denim jeans.
Levis changed the denim.for the sake of Fashion and profit.
So only buy second hand Levis from that time back. Not interested in modern fashion jeans.
Jeans were made for working cloths strong and hard wearing. Like the good old shrink to fit in the 60,s
Love Levis well worn old faded.Natural rips and tears from hard wearing.
Always loved that old hippy look worn torn patched, even flared jeans, patchwork repaired look.
Tried other jeans over my life but only Levis really have that hot worn look.July 9, 2017 at 9:16 pm #29667

I’m in love with wrangler jeans!February 7, 2019 at 5:29 pm #30106GaryParticipant
I have always been a Levi’s 501 lover. I just bought two pairs of Stretch 502’s. Wow what a sexy feeling. The stretch is just enough snd the finish is deep indigo. The buttons are a little less shiny than regular 501’s so you can tell the difference.
My only concern is that the newer Levi’s jeans and jackets seem to have two colors of thread in the pockets and some trim areas. Does anyone know shy this would be ?February 16, 2019 at 2:49 pm #30118Levis CowboyParticipant
It has to be Levis. There is nothing like the feel of a good quality heavy weight denim on your skin. I agree with Levilandlord regarding quality of the newer Levis which are now much lighter weight denim and they appear to be much poorer quality than in the past. It seems that fashion rather than quality is more important to Levis Management these days. I was fortunate to be able to buy several pairs of dead stock of the quality Levis 501s before they disappeared from the shelve completely. I also love the history of Levis. Originally made as a tough rivited pair of pants for the Californian goldminers, they soon were adopted by other manual labour professions who need a functional tough pair of pants. In the 1930-40s they were the pants of choice of the movie cowboys and in the 1950-60s they were the uniform of the rebellious youth. Sadly, as time went on and jeans became more mainstream, everybody was wearing them and they became a fashion item to be replaced every few months rather than tough pair of pants that would become uniquely yours and you would wear and love them for years. While Levis are still the most iconic pair of jeans, they are nowhere near as iconic as they once were. Lastly, I love Levis because “Butts look better in Levis”. Male or Female, a nice fitting pair of Levis always looks good. The arcuate stitching on the Levis back pockets reminds me of an arrow head which seems to point and say “Check out this Butt”.
